Installation Doesn't Even Happen
 

So I like my Dell D3100 HD DisplayLink USB 3.0 Dock. In the beginning it worked very well.

Then I installed a driver, and Windows 8 started losing what it was. Only my wireless mouse and keyboard would work, not the 2 monitors connected to it (HDMI and one DisplayPort) and not the ethernet port.

So what I would do is uninstall and reinstall the software, did this for about a week.

However, now when I try to install, the software doesn't even finish installing. I see the installation screen briefly (after allowing the installer to run) and then it disappears. Nothing happens.

I've done the DisplayLink cleaner tool but still nothing happens...

Now I'm on the fence of totally reformatting my whole computer, but do I have to do this? I really don't want to....:confused::eek:
