Dell XPS 13 with 2 Dell 24" displays -- help!
 

I have this setup:
Dell XPS13, D3100 <-- Dell docking D3100 (usb 3.0)<-- Startech tripple display port splitter (display port) <-- 2 Dell 24" displays connected to splitter with display port. The problem with this setup that Windows 8.1 detects just one display. Is this gonna work at all?
I know that I could skip the splitter and connect one display with display port and the other one with hdmi, but I'm guessing that display port is better because the higher refresh rate, right?

The splitter won't work as it uses MST.

Your best bet is to connect your monitors directly to the D3100.
