2.4b1 Screen doesn't sleep properly

I have a MacBook Pro and I just tried the new beta. I notice now that when I put the computer to sleep that the DisplayLink monitor goes dark, but the backlight remains on. The resulting brightness is still enough to keep me awake at night so I have time unplug the DisplayLink monitor. It didn't have to do this under 2.3.

Will there be any more 2.4 beta's before this final release? How close do you think the next beta is (or the release)?
