Ethernet stopped working
1 Attachment(s)
I have Plugable USB 3.0 docking station which has been working beautifully with Windows 10 for months, but from yesterday the ethernet connection does not work. (Its fine if I plug the ethernet cable direct into laptop, so its not a cable or router issue). I have reinstalled the software, updated network adapter driver to latest and it still doesn't work. I have run the diagnostic tool and it says system is compatible. Log file attached.
Can anyone help? |
Hello Andrew,
In some cases, there are issues with Ethernet driver updates through Windows 10. Drivers can either get corrupted or just not found. In your log, I can see some USB issues relating to the Ethernet indeed. When you removed the software to reinstall it, have you used the End User Cleaner utility? If not, please have a look at the following article: KB678310: DisplayLink Ethernet or Audio drivers are not loading after upgrading to Windows 10 |
