DL-195 W7 stopped working
 

I've been using a DL-195 w/a 1920x1080 monitor for a while now - then last week right before I was done with a big project the display went blank and stayed that way.

If I power-cycle the monitor, it shows the normal desktop for a few moments and then goes blank again, and stays that way.

In both circumstances the monitor doesn't go to sleep.

So far I've:

• re-installed the DL software,
• moved the adapter from its prior USB 2.0 connection on the computer to a 3.0 powered USB strip
• Replaced the DVI cable with different one

all to no avail, so I'm looking for suggestions.
