After installing Windows 10 Update KB3140741 on a Surface Pro 2 I began to have slow performance issues related to the DisplayLink software. The issues started to appear after restart.

Would you please be able to let me know how you reached the conclusion this was related to DisplayLink software?

Having more information on the symptoms would be useful.
