BSoDs on Dell XPS, Win 10, no adapter connected

Hi, I've got a Dell XPS 15 w/ two additional adapters: DA100 and DA200. The latter arrived around the end of April, and at that point I installed all the latest software from the Dell site (e.g. Thunderbolt, USB) They work great!

However, I've recently(?) starting getting this Blue-screen when using my laptop without either adapter connected:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (dlkmd.sys)

The laptop has dual Intel HD 530 and Nvidia GTX960M (driver 358.94)

After 2 crashes last night I updated the Intel drivers & the Display Link drivers to the latest (M5 -> M7, iirc), however it happened again tonight. :-(

I've since done a system restore and uninstalled the display link software (I want to see if this helps it goes away. I won't need them for a while anyway, e.g. about a month).

Two questions:

1. I think I've located two of the .DMP crash files from last night (before the driver upgrades). Do you want them?

2. Do you have any advice for getting back to a stable system? I don't fancy fiddling around with driver installations "at random"...

Hi Luke,
The log file process in my forum signature should collect the minidump created during the BSoD. I can have a look at the calling stack.
Knowing the version of the primary graphics card driver (Intel) would also be useful, as on this Windows version, our driver needs to work hand-in-hand with them.
Kind regards,
Alban

Hi Alban,

Being realistic I'm probably not going to have time to reinstall the drivers and your logging software & try to reproduce this, over in the next few weeks (due to personal commitments & relocating my family soon).

The Intel driver version is 20.19.15.4390 (latest available on Dell's website). Given what you say about cooperating with their drivers, I've posted also on Intel's forum* - as I've continued to see (non-fatal) display driver crashes. Since uninstalling DisplayLink drivers I've had no BSoD.

I've attached what I hope are minidumps from 2 of the earlier BSoD's I saw anyway, on the off chance they're in the correct format & might be useful.

Thank you Luke,

We have a similar one currently in analysis. I can't be sure without more complete information but that seems to ring like something we are working on already.

Kind regards,
Alban
