Windows 10 1607: 3rd monitor fails
 

Since upgrading to Windows 10 1607 and DisplayLink 8.0.629.0, my 3 monitor configuration only works on 2 of my monitors. It used to extend desktop to all 3.

The details:
Surface Book / surface dock
3 HP USB Graphics Adapters (NL571AA)


The failing USB device shows a problem code on Device Manager of 0000000A.

Any ideas?

never mind - this magically started working again.

I had rebooted multiple times, docked and undocked, to no avail.

This morning, when I docked my surface book after yet another reboot, I have all monitors working. I changed nothing else on the machine in the interim.

I checked my drivers, and they're the same version.

So, no explanation, but happy results.
