Didn't detect another display (Windows 10)

Hello,

I've been searching the forums and googled this but couldn't find anything similar to my issue.

I have a usb display adapter connected to a 2nd monitor. The adapter says "trulink" but I believe that this is a displaylink product (right?).

Everything was working fine until today when i decided to update my Windows 10 after many months of not doing so.

After the update the displaylink driver was uninstalled. I've installed the new one (8.0) but the system won't recognize the 2nd display. I tried changing USB ports. restarting, uninstalling and re-installing, but nothing helped.

See attached - the adapter is showing the the device manager but its name is "USB display adapter" and not "DisplayLink adapter".

Please help. Thank you
Idan
