Dell Dock - Display Link - Radeon HD 7450
 

I recently tried to use the latest version of the display link driver with no success, so I decided to try a clean install of Ubuntu 16.04 and still am having no luck. If I don't connect any monitors to the dock everything works fine. As soon as I connect a monitor everything goes bad. Black screen with a small noveau message, no response to any keyboard input, not even the ability to change virtual consoles. The only good thing is that I am able to SSH into the box and everything seems fine from the console.
