Hello - new to the forum here. Found this site after several hours of research into the lack of functionality on my new HP S140U monitor. I saw a post under the 8.1 forum regarding the same unit I have with no responses, so I through I would get another thread going.

I am running the HP S140U on a Dell Latitude E6540 with Windows 10(64); i5; 4G RAM.

The brightness buttons are still not working after installing version 8.2 of the Display Link driver. I have also ensured all other drivers are up to date. I am currently using PangoBright to control my dimming, but I am anxiously awaiting full use of the hardware features.

Any updates on brightness button support?

Hello Michael,

There is no news at the present. Engineering has been focused on the performance and CPU usage as it was more pressing and more requested.
