NVIDIA Surround and DisplayLink
 

Hi all,

I was wondering if there has been any improvement in the compatibility between NVIDIA surround and DisplayLink.

I picked up an AOC E1659FWU and it works fine if surround is not enabled. As soon as I enable surround, the E1659FWU stops displaying anything (backlight stays on), my main displays flash for a few minutes as Windows tries to get everything working and eventually the Device Manager reports the E1659FWU as having a Code43 error (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported errors).

I am running the latest DisplayLink drivers (9.1 M0) with the latest NVIDIA drivers (425.31). When searching these forums, I did find posts about incompatibilities between NVIDIA surround and DisplayLink and NVIDIA wasn't being very helpful when providing assistance so they could work together. I was hoping there was more progress on this lately.
