Sync displays instead of extending
 

Hello community,

I have a very interesting problem and I hope anybody can help me. I am using a MacBook Pro 13" 2017 on macOS 10.15.2 with two Startech USB-C docks. I have the following configuration:

Office:
Displayport 1 (Displaylink): HP display
Displayport 2 (Displaylink): HP display
HDMI-Port (Native): HP display

Everything works just fine. in my homeoffice I am using exactly the same dock but instead of HP displays I am using Samsung displays. Now Displayport 1 and HDMI-Port sync instead of extending. I tried a different configuration:

MacMini Late 2012:
Mini display port (Native): Samsung display
HDMI port (Native): Samsung display
I-tec USB (Displaylink): Samsung display

I have exactly the same problem. Is it possible that the Samsung diaplays are incompatible and cause the problem?
