D6000 and Dell S2716DG compatibility issues

Is there any work being done for this support? HDMI input works flawless, when attempting to use the display link port, the monitors (including built in) will flash black for a moment, then drop to just the Laptop's built in.

New Laptop
New D6000
S2716DG monitors approx 2 years old

Latest drivers installed, uninstalled etc.
