2nd Display shows but not functioning
 

I've not found quite my problem here.
MacPro - just updated to Catalina 10.15.7
Toshiba USB display

Previously working fine til update. Installed DisplayLink 1.2

didn't work. Uninstalled re-installed twice

Now comes up with desktop pattern and curser shows up on it, but can't drag anything over to the extended desktop.

Shows up in the display arrangement in Display preferences, but monitor window doesn't show up on the 2nd display.

What am I missing, or is there something else to do to get my display useful again.

The client is wanting to use his screens again.
