[Intel] Severe drop in frame rates at certain resolutions
 

Hi, here are my specs:

• Laptop: 2019 Intel based Macbook, i7
• OS: Big Sur
• Monitor: 2x UltraSharps U2720 4K
• Dock: DK30CH2DPPD

This issue has caused me to go nuts. At first, I thought my entire computer was bogged down. Turns out it's because my frame rate would drop from 60 to 10-35. But only at certain scaled resolutions i.e: 2560x1440p. Running native 4K or scaled 1080p does not have this problem.

I even turned off one external monitor so I'm using a single 4K monitor and same issue. The monitor is in horizontal mode. This problem does not occur if I connect the monitors directly into the laptop.

Re-opening the app does not fix the problem either.

It's completely unusable for me in this state. Anyone have a solution for this?
