Display link + MacBookAir ethernet disconnect
 

M1 MacBookAir + Monterey OS and connected via Display link and ethernet. It drives me crazy. After a short periode (5 minutes) of inactivity the network connection is terminated. Solution: unplug the USB-C to Display link and then the connection is restored again. How come?
