Help with Macbook M2 and streaming video
Can someone help me please? I have a Macbook Air with the M2 chip. After using a Macbook Pro earlier generation for years, I was surprised to learn that the new one can't support a second external monitor. So, I bit the bullet and bought the expensive Plugable Displaylink docking station. It allowed me to plug in two monitors, but I found out quickly that I couldn't play Hulu or Netflix videos in Chrome. However, I found that Firefox worked. Kind of sucked to have to use a different browser, but at least it worked.
But, two days ago, Firefox stopped playing videos. Nothing will unless I unplug Displaylink and run it on my main screen. Can someone help me with a workaround? is there a reason Firefox stopped working? Was there an update they did? Is there another browser that will work? I tried Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. Nothing. This really stinks, especially since this is basic functionality I've never had any issues with on my Surface or Acer computers. |
