Spotlight doesn't work unless I quit & relaunch DisplayLink
 

When I bootup my Mac from shutdown - in the last week-ish Spotlight appears not to be working though I think it's just that I can't get to it. If I Quit DisplayLink then Spotlight works and if I then launch DisplayLink then Spotlight keeps working. Any ideas how to resolve the issue after bootup?

DisplayLink is version 1.9 and is in the login items "Allow in the Background" list and switched on.

I'm on Ventura 13.5 which I updated to after I noticed the spotlight issue.

I tried the advice in this article but nothing changed https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201716.

To access Spotlight I've tried the magnifying glass on the menu bar or pressed Command-Space bar nothing happens.
