"Installation Failed" on Mac M1 Ventura 13.5
 

I have repeatedly tried to download and install the displaylink software - every time I get the same "Installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." message. I have tried downloading and then moving the file to a different folder before opening - as recommended in the forums - but that did not work either. Have done several reboots - same deal. I am NOT getting the "installer security prompt" when the installer goes through the stages. Any ideas on how to fix so the software installs propertly? Thanks!
