Macbook Air M1 / Anker Dock / Not recognized
Hi,
I'm trying to connect 2 monitors through HDMI to an Anker 575 (A8392) Dock which has a DisplayPort to my Macbook via USB-C . This is the message I'm getting: "Please allow your DisplayLink device to connect to this mac" After connecting accessory to this mac via USB, a system promt will appear. Please click "Allow" to ensure the device is working properly. Is my dock not compatible or am I doing something wrong? It didn't work in Ventura nor in Sonoma. Thanks! |

As a result, DisplayLink will not be able to assist you. |
Hi, thanks for your answer!
Sorry for my ignorance, but having a Display Port doesn't neccessarily means it has Display Link aswell? I'm a bit confused here. Thanksd! |

DisplayLink is a USB video technology that uses a combination of DisplayLink specific hardware within the product and a software component on the host system in order to provide video output via a USB data connection. Although the names sound similar, they are very different technologies. If you would like to find a product based on DisplayLink technology, DisplayLink maintains a fairly comprehensive list here --> https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...ylink-products |
Same with me
I've used the same display link support for years now and all of a sudden I get a different message. It says please allow displaylink to connect to the mac, but i never get a pop up asking permission?
