DisplayLinkManager high cpu on Ubuntu 24.04
 

Hi guys
I've purchased 2 starttech.com usb3 docking station to use with my dell XPS13 9333 laptop and ubuntu.

Fresh Ubuntu 24.04 install (for other reasons)

DisplayLinkManager is using a very very high amount of CPU , nearly 60% making everything unstable.

Any solution/workaround ? I can't use a DP Alt Mode docking station because my laptops doesn't have usb-c ports and with DisplayLink it's almost impossible to work.

If I use the HDMI output, displaylink is still needed or only when using the displayport output?
