Displays shutting down Display Link
 

I believe this started after the last MacOs Update.

The short version. I've had my unit for two years.

DisplayLink shuts down, and video on my monitors doesn't display. The Ethernet port also shuts down, but other USB ports (webcam, microphone) are fine.

If I remove the HDMI cables everything works normally. I plugged one monitor in with my mac adapter to the USB-C port in front. that works fine.

My guess is something was broken in the two HDMI port drivers in the last update.
