M4 Macbook pro
I have a Minisopuru Hub linked with the display link driver to display a third monitor (my new MBP M4 only supports two external monitors) and the third display lags so bad. The mouse drifts and typing lags. Is this an issue with the hub? Is there a new display link driver?

Can you please share more details I will need logfiles to check the feedback from the driver. For instructions on how to gather the logfiles please navigate to the following article How to report macOS issues to DisplayLink And aslo for speedy support please send an email with the logfiles and detailed problem description to: technical-enquiries@synaptics.com |
I'm encountering the same issue as well with my new M4 MacBook Pro. I'm using two Plugable UGA-4KDP adapters to connect my MacBook Pro to external monitors. Worked fine on my old Intel Mac, but just switched to a new M4 and am having issues.
My issues are mainly with Chrome and Slack: the display is super-laggy when scrolling and dragging and dropping, and the pointer sometimes skips around. Don't have issues with the primary display with the same pointer, so it's not a mouse issue. For some reason, I don't have a similar issue in Apple Mail. I'll go ahead and send my details to that same email address listed above. |

If you are running your displays at 3480x2160 at 30Hz, it could result in behavior similar to what you describe. It appears that lower resolutions support a 60Hz refresh rate. If you lower the resolution of the displays connected to the adapters to say, 1920x1080, does that change the behavior? |

Same Issue
I also am experiencing this same issue of input lag with DisplayLink on the MacBook Pro M4 Pro laptops.
Its most notable when typing for me. I have been able to reproduce this with multiple different DisplayLink docking stations from various vendors, running the DL6950 IC. for me the issue is most consistent when running on 3440x1440 ultrawide monitors regardless of refresh rate. I have a 2 different triple display docks that both support 2x monitors on DL6950 and 1x on MST through the dock. the monitor connected to the MST port does not experience any input lag, but when you move an application to one of the DL connected monitors, I can see the input lag when typing. its only with the new M4 Pro laptops, that I am seeing this issue on. |
