Mac download links all serve Windows executables
 

I am trying to download the latest DL software for my new Mac Mini but each time I download the software I am served a Windows EXE file. Even downloading an old version gives the same file type.

Clicking the download link gives this URL:
https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...2?filetype=exe

Once I accept the usage terms the exe download starts. If I change the filetype query string to 'pkg' or 'dmg' I still get an exe.

:confused:

EDIT: NEVER MIND I AM BLIND (EXE.pkg ugh). Admins please delete this as I don't see a way to delete it.
