Issue with Cursor on External Monitors after Idle Period

Ever since updating Mac OS to Sequoia, the cursor is not accessible on external monitors after a period of idleness. I can fix it by quitting and reopening Display Link Manager, but that is not ideal to have to keep doing every time I take a break and return to my computer.

Update: I realized I did not have the newest version of Display Link Manager installed. I had 1.10.3 (build 34), which apparently supports Sequoia, but it's older. I just downloaded the latest version 1.12.4 (build 90). Time will tell if that resolves my issue. An auto-update feature or built-in notification system for new versions would have been helpful.

sad update

this has progressed and is now happening more frequently, not just after an idle period. It seems random. It is disrupting my work. any suggestions or workarounds? not sure if reverting to sonama might help?

If the original manufacturer of your DisplayLink-based product has been unable to assist you, then I would suggest reporting the issue to DisplayLink directly by following the process outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink
