Issue with DisplayLink on MacOS
 

I have been using DisplayLink at my university's library for about a year now. This semester, I have been facing issues where I connect my Mac to our dual monitor set up, and when connected, the monitor screens quickly become very slow/laggy and unresponsive at times.

To troubleshoot, I have already done the following:
- reinstalled the DisplayLink driver software multiple times
- connected my Mac to an external monitor via a direct USB-C connection (which worked fine and the monitor did not give me an issues)
- checked all my USB-C ports, which are all intact
- tested on 40 different monitors in the library, with which I end up facing the same issue very quickly

I am not sure what to do, and am fairly certain there is not a problem within my Mac's hardware. I am on MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1 with an Apple Silicon M3 chip. Any advice would be appreciated!
