unable to Extend display to second external monitor
 

I have installed the software and followed the instructions provided on the DisplayLink website, but am still unable to extend my display to a second external monitor.

I have both monitors hooked up to a docking station (Acer and Dell), and I'm seeing the screen mirrored on both monitors.

To confirm:
I have allowed screen recording in Privacy and Security
Allowed notifications from the software
Login screen extension status is showing as "Installed"

on the "Displays" section of DisplayLink software, its says when I connect "accessory to this mac via usb, a system prompt may appear" but I'm not getting anything. it seems like the software is not recognizing the second monitor.

Please provide the brand and specific model number of (or a direct web link to) the docking station you are using.
