Fix Apple Shortcut Actions
When brightness and contrast support was added, I noticed that the app showed up in the Apple Shortcuts app. When I saw this, I thought great because I noticed that the forum about adding support for this feature to work directly with other apps had gone stale (https://displaylink.org/forum/showth...ght=brightness), but if the brightness could be controlled via the shortcuts app, then it could be manually integrated into other apps. However, when I try to run any of the actions within the shortcuts app, DisplayLink Manager immediately crashes. I tried every version of DisplayLink that exposes the actions and noticed that in earlier versions the action fails but the app still remains running, but after one of the major versions (I think it was 14, but it could have been 13), the behavior changed to the app crashing.

Hello,
Thanks for the feedback. In general, Apple Shortcut are not supported though, I agree the app shouldn't ever crash. I have reported this bug internally. Secondly, the thread you mentioned indeed has gone stale, but the idea has not been abandoned. I hope we will be able to share some news with regards to this soon. Regards, Szymon |
