No device detected but its working - Apple Pro Display XDR and Anker TB Dock
Hi everyone,
I bought the Anker Prime Thunderbolt 5 Dock and connected it to my MacBook Pro M1 Max with Tahoe 26.2. On the rear Thunderbolt Port I connected my Apple Pro Display XDR. I installed the DisplayLink Driver and the display on the monitor is working so far. Screen recording and the privacy settings are turned on. But in the DisplayLink Settings it shows "Please connect your DispalyLink device" and "No device detected“. How can I fix this? https://www.displaylink.org/forum/pi...0&pictureid=27 https://www.displaylink.org/forum/pi...0&pictureid=28 |

As a result, you do NOT need to install DisplayLink software in order to use the product. If you have any issues using the product, I would suggest contacting Anker directly for assistance. |
Hey rboerner,
thank you for your answer. I installed the DisplayLink Driver, because its written here on the Anker support Page https://www.anker.com/eu-de/blogs/hubs-und-docks/a83b3 |

Thanks to you all.
I removed the DisplayLink Driver and it's still working. First when I connected the Dock it did not work and so I thought I need the Driver and after installation it worked. Now when the Driver is removed its still working (as you said I don't have an DisplayLink Hardware) I don't know what the problem in the beginning was :) |
