External monitor sometimes disabled/deactivated.
 

We run the DisplayLink software/driver for Hot Desking in a corporate environment and have been finding that a few laptops will not display on external monitors, finding that the external screen is set to "Disconnect this display" in the (Windows setting) System -> Display settings.

Is there a way to change this behaviour to always duplicate/extend as people are believing that the external screens/TV's are at fault when it's just this setting.
