Almost 1GB of RAM for DisplayLink Manager?

My macOS is telling me that DisplayLink Manager 16 is sometimes using almost 900MB of RAM.

Isn't that a bit excessive?

I'd add a screenshot but the limits are set to 620x280. This is 2026, we don't have 1024x768 monitors anymore! :)
