Recurring 0x133 crashes involving DisplayLink Ethernet — two WAVLINK docks
 

Hello, could DisplayLink help investigate recurring crashes on an HP ZBook Studio 16 G10 running Windows 11?

Similar problems occurred with two separate WAVLINK WL-UG69PD25 Pro docks and different monitors on the same laptop. Crashes on 26 August and 20 September 2026 share the bucket 0x133_DPC_Ndu!UpdateWakeCountOnSendCompleteChainWa lkObsolete.

The latest crash stack includes dlcdcncm660.sys (3.81.0.0), NDIS and Ndu; Connected Standby was active. The installed Ethernet driver package is 11.5.5452.0. Previously, unplugging dock Ethernet and using Wi-Fi coincided with approximately 9.5 days without this crash or Ethernet reset events.

We plan to test DisplayLink 12.3. This evidence does not establish the root cause. Is this a known issue, and which diagnostics would help your engineering team investigate?
