Couldn't start DisplayLink on PC
 

Hello!

Today I downloaded the iPad-App DisplayLink. Afterwards I downloaded the program for my Windows 7-PC and installed it. But now, I don't know what to do. I think normally the program should start automatically or I can start an .exe-file, but nothing works.

What should I do after the installation?

I have the same problem too. So I tried to open the software "DisplayLinkUi.EXE" manually and nothing happened either.

Yes, same here.
Same thing with the "DisplayLinkManager.exe".

What should I/we do?

Just got an email back from the them :) Seems like wrong software was being downloaded for few hours. Try to download the software again and make sure it is call "DisplayLink_iPad_v5.6_M1.exe" and try install it again.

just downloaded the app today for Win7 and the file is named DisplayLink-5.6.31870.exe

install, reboot, no display icon in task tray and no workie....


any ideas?

Hey, go to this page and download it again. The setup-file is named "DisplayLink iPad Host Software 5.6 M1".
I think it will work!
