I have no problem with the DisplayLink Demo unit 0x0141 and a 20" Apple Cinema Display using the current beta and 10.6.1 on a 17" macbook pro early 2008.

Just thought I'd let you know! :D

I seem to be having a problem with color shift on my Viewsonic VA191. Running from a MacBook Pro. Any ideas or solutions as I am not sure if it is the driver or not.

Colours should be ok when you first connect the monitor to the adapter and then to the computer (fixed in the next release).
