iPad display blank
 

Hello I installed the software on my windows 7 machine and the app on my ipad 1st. Generation. Everything seemed to install ok on both devices. It detected my network just fine. The problem is that the iPad screen is blank my background shows up but no icons and I can't move my mouse cursor to the iPad. Can someone direct me as to what I should do now.
