[Solved] "Connection Failed, Password Error" on Win Xp & 7
 

Hi Everyone,

I have installed the DisplayLink iPad app on my iPad 1, as well as the windows program on my Windows Xp desktop and my windows 7 laptop.

The iPad can find both of these computers from within the DisplayLink app, however when I enter the password for either of these computers, it gives the error message;

I have tried restarting the computers, uninstalling and reinstalling the windows program - everything I can think of! What am I doing wrong?

Thanks to everyone that looked at this post - I thought that you entered the iPad password in to the windows program, then the windows password in to the iPad. Instead, you type the same password in to both - it doesn't matter what the password is!
