No device on Windows XP
 

When first connected the 2nd display shows up and extend is ticked, however nothing is displayed. Tried changing settings to mirror it says no device detected then gets stuck on mirror (can't change back to extend) and still displays nothing.

Please see attached debug logs.

Try another (better) usb cable to connect your PC and the adapter.

I had the same issue before and it was solved by it.

Solved my issue
 

un-installed Displaylink software and re-installed. All works, but this time change setting of display to 720. PC couldn't handle the 1080P, so when you switched it to mirror it would hang. Seems to work ok now.
