I do not think I am booting in 64 bit modeI am assuming this is not a default setting as I do not remember ever changing this.

i386
So I guess I am in 32bit mode....

This update seems to have fixed my issues with my MacBook Pro i7. I can unplug/reboot and not hang or crash. :)
