I've changed to a different TV, different usb cable, different hdmi cable..
upgraded Intel USB 3.0 eXtensibleHost to 1.0.8.251 (latest)
downgraded Intel HD4000 drivers to 9.17.10.2932...

Same problem here
I've got an ASUS UX31A Prime on Win7 Ultimate (FullHD/256SSD) running without problems since a year.
Bought the VariDrive last week... First install hung. Then problems began....
