Switching from the bottom port to the top port fixed this issue [holding thumbs]. not sure what would happen if i tried to use a second display

Upgrading to 7.2 MI display driver seemed to fix the mouse lag, but introduced (much worse) intermittent screen blurriness. Can last anywhere from a few to many seconds..
