Fixed by installing the August Surface Pro Driver...

Fixed by installing the August Surface Pro Driver Pack from Microsoft. It was probably the video drivers.

I'm using the following:

Windows 8.1 RTM (Build 9600)
Microsoft Surface Pro
Toshiba Dynadock
DisplayLink Software 7.4 M2

DisplayLink software installed fine, but after a reboot the system...
