mouse pointer artefacts are not the only artefacts with the version.

the shadow drawn around windows will erase the desktop background to white in the lower 2/3 of a display link connected screen...

in beta 2 tap to klick on the magic trackpad was gone and the system was very very sluggish.

beta 1 works nearly without any problems.
