This is good news for us still stuck on Win7. I have actually managed to install M4 now so I guess the latest batch of updates that was pushed to my computer contained that which was missing before....

OK. that explains it. Too bad you cannot give me a KB number to look for as I am unable to update this system by myself and updates are only pushed out by the system administrator.

No I cannot install the latest updates for Windows since I am using a corporate computer, and access to windows update is restricted by a group policy.

Besides I am not sure I understand...

I am unable to successfully install DisplayLink 7.9 M4 due to Windows 7 complaining about unsigned drivers. Installing M3 doesn't give me the same problem.
