I've contacted my retailer to ask for a refund. Not only does mine not work correctly, it comes and goes, making the regular monitor go blank for several seconds at a time.
If enough of us demand...

My declaration of victory was...
premature! Still goes blank at times, even while in operation. Sometimes it moves all the windows onto the remaining monitor, sometimes not.

Second monitor goes blank
I'm having trouble with my second ASUS display going black after a while. Then the LED on the link adapter turns off. I can sometimes get it to come back on by unplugging the USB plug and replugging...
