I just tried that (and rebooted). With the laptop setup with the external monitor (1680x1050) on HDMI I put the laptop to sleep. Wake it up and the laptop is in duplicated display mode on the laptop...

Unplugging and re-plugging the dock seems to always work in bring the display to the external monitor. Why oh why it doesn't work when you...

I suspect there is no fix, but I've got the dynadock working fine under windows 7 x64.

The laptop monitor is set as off in dynadock and the display via HDMI is on the external monitor, however...
