Does anyone really know how to correct this issue? I'm starting to believe once it occurs, you'll never get the device working again.

What about the issue with Windows assigning it...

What about the issue with Windows assigning it the 8060 hardware ID? That seems to be my only issue at the moment ... but it never initializes correctly.

Any way to correct this issue or has the device gone bad? Can it be hard-reset?
