I followed the instructions in this thread (http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1115) and downloaded Ethernet over USB drivers from here...

Kernel panic on MacOS 10.7.1
Summary: the Mac transfers the primary display to a connected DVI display. Mouse is working. Mac crashes with a kernel panic after about 5s. Reproducible. Possibly associated with Ethernet over USB....
