Yes its likely your charger may not have enough...

Yes its likely your charger may not have enough power to drive dock and charge at same time..

Always best to get a dock that come's with its own charger..

I use the Alogic DX3 drives 3...

I have MacBook Air 15" M2 2023 with a triple dock and no issues using 1.90 & Sonoma
