I'm actually able to run two DisplayLink displays...

I'm actually able to run two DisplayLink displays (seperate adapters) without any problems other than it forgetting the display arrangement if I un/replug it or reboot.

If it's a USB 3.0 dock (even if you're connecting it via USB 2.0) it's probably using ASIX drivers, not DisplayLink's. I don't think the DL drivers drive an Ethernet controller.

I don't think it will.
I run my DL USB 2 adapter on a 10 port hub with a load of other devices and it's just as fast as if I plugged it into a dedicated USB port with no other USB devices connected....
